On the 26th July 2005 7mth old baby Corrina had a stroke and was rushed into ChCh hospital where the Drs and nurses worked franticly to keep Corrina alive. After an MRI it was found she had a huge tumour in her wee head and the pressure of it had caused her to have a stroke. She was flown to Starship hospital but was not expected to survive the plane trip. But Corrina beat the odds and did. This is her journey....
CORRINAS FIGHT FOR LIFE
The above text was taken from the thread started by Chris, Corrina's Grandma, her full story is contained in the TM message board support thread on the left and contains letters from Corrina's mum and dad Toni and Carl. Please take the time to read it, there is some powerful stuff there.
Sadly baby Corrina's fight for life ended on July 15th 2006.
She passed away peacefully in the arms of her mum and dad and brother Jamie, she was also surrounded by loving family.
Corrina will live on in the hearts of thousands and we can all honestly say "we have been touched by an Angel" she did it her way from the start ***THE CORRINA WAY***
